1       Introduction 

Select charts from the enroute map 

This will show you how you can select an aerodrome from the enroute map and view the related charts. 

We estimate that this will take 1 minutes to complete.

2       Detailed Explanation 

If you tap on an aerodrome in the map view you will be able to view its charts in the chart viewer. You can only view aerodromes that are in your subscription. Charts in your subscriptions are highlighted cyan on the map. In this example you can click on EGBB.

Your chart administrator can specify default charts for an aerodrome. Default charts defines by your chart administrator for the route identified on the enroute screen are initially assigned the chart screen ribbon tiles if you provide the correct entry in terms of departure, arrival and either departure or arrival runways. You can, if you choose to, assign a different chart.

You can tap/click yes on the prompt to confirm that you want to view the charts.

Interaction 1 Tap/Click the Yes button.

You are now viewing the aerodrome chart for your selected alternate airport. Let's go back to the enroute map simply by clicking the ENR quick access button located at the top left corner of the Charts workspace.

The aerodrome selected will be in the ALTN section in the route toolbar. Any other aerodromes you select this way will also be added to this list
